Pregnancy Week 15AROUND 13 WEEKS AFTER CONCEPTION:

 

What are the changes in growth and development of your fetus?

 

The fetal bone develops, making them harder day by day. The baby may start sucking his/her thumb. The skin looks thin and transparent enough to allow see the blood vessels through the skin.

 

The lanugo starts to cover the whole body.

 

What changes are expected in you, mom?

 

Your uterus is growing, Mom. It may cross anytime your hip bones and allowing you to feel it at 3-4 inches below your navel. During each visit to your doctor/midwife or caregiver, the symphysis fundal height (SFH) will be measured; it is the distance from the top of the fundus to your pubis.

 

It’s a perfect period to know the baby’s gender –but not recommended.
