Infertility
The term fertility is the ability to reproduce that is the ability of the couple to conceive. The fertility determines that the persons who are fertile can naturally reproduce and give birth to their off-springs.
However there are some couples who are quite unfortunate as they do get the opportunity to feel the parenthood because of the infertility that is the inability to reproduce.

The infertility may be found in the male partner or the female partner or sometimes in both of them. Mostly the cause remains unknown in most of the cases and in few of them there may be some known and significant causes.
The infertility may be either primary or the secondary. The primary is the one that describes that the woman has never conceived in the past and the secondary refers to the one that means that at least for once the conception has taken place in the past. Once the couple comes to know that they are not able to conceive naturally they feel as if their dreams are shattered to pieces; they are greatly disappointed and feel helpless.
However the technological advances in the field of the science and medicine have brought a great revolution and it has proven to be a ray of hope for such couples. The assisted reproductive techniques provide them a opportunity to try out their luck to those who are facing the problem of the infertility.
